Having been diagnosed with the onset of arthritis I was concerned that it might stop me from beginning an exercise program. Rather the opposite is the case and exercise is encouraged for those suffering with arthritis. Yes I know that elephant in the get fit and healthy room....exercise but did you know that you are probably exercising and don't know it, yep it's true all that daily activity counts towards exercise, now doesn't that sound good? here are just 5 ways to fit exercise into your day. 1. housework, yes it counts. vacuuming and picking stuff off the floor are especially beneficial. 2. if your watching a short youtube video or a video on a favourite blog why not use that time to do some squats. 3. jog on the spot while waiting for the microwave or the kettle to boil 4. when shopping leave your cart at the end of the aisle and walk to pick up the items then back to your cart. 5. hanging out the washing, all that bending and stretching is good for your core. there are lots more ways you can fit exercise into your day, how many can you think of?
